Hey LD4 the foul sliders need to all be MAXED out at 100 man.

There is really no way around it because the fouls are tied into the players ratings and after spending about 2 hours looking at them the half the league is almost programmed not to committ many fouls.

I looked under the Edit player ratings option and EA has way too many players rated around 50 which means they won't committ many shooting fouls on their own.

Now i try to control one defender all game or as much as possible and in 3 games with all the sliders maxed out i saw less than 17 FT's in every game.

Played a half with these sliders. Was ok, I might try playing against a stronger team because it seemed a little too easy.

          Stats at the half were.

46 Raptors (Me) vs. 33 Kings

          FG% 50.0 / 34.3
          FGM/A 21-42 / 12-35
          3PT% 40.0 / 20.0
          3PTM/A 2-5 / 1-5
          FT 2-2 / 8-9
          REB 25 / 17
          Assists 9 / 8
          Blocks 3 / 0
          Steals 2 / 4
          Turnovers 4 / 6
          Fouls 5 / 2
          Off Reb 3 / 1
          Def Reb 22 / 16
          FB 7 / 2
          2nd 4 / 0

Becareful with maxing the reach in fouls and charge/block, otherwise you'll see some extremely questionable calls. Users won't go in for steals anymore, and you'll be hesitant to throw the ball in the post for fear of a charge.

Had another game with these sliders, but it still seemed a bit too easy to blow past the defender. I did notice better fastbreaks like Playmakers said though. Here's the boxscore.

100 Spurs (Me) vs. 75 Magic
              FG% 54.8 / 37.8
              FGM/A 46-84 / 31-82
              3PT% 50.0 / 37.5
              3PTM/A 5-10 / 6-16
              FT 3-4 / 7-10
              REB 43 / 36
              Assists 24 / 20
              Blocks 2 / 5
              Steals 3 / 2
              Turnovers 5 / 7
              Fouls 5 / 3
              Off Reb 4 / 7
              Def Reb 39 / 29
              FB 8 / 7

The Mavs are supposed to blow-out the Grizzlies though. Try playing against the Lakers , Cleveland or San Antonio and see how it plays out.

Sounds good. Ill give them another shot today. I usually start playing with the Mavs because they're my team. After I get used to the game I go through and play with everybody (except for the Spurs of course). Ill let you know the results of other teams. Atlanta is up first.

I'm going to load these up and try them out when I get home tonight.

I play 10 mins and am looking for a good realistic game, FT attempts and reasonable scores etc.

                        These sliders definately intrigued me.

I'll ost my findings after a game or two.

I finally got a chance to play with these sliders.
                          They are a winner.
Only thing I changed is fatigue. I think LF4D and Playmaker have this value waaaaay too high. I want superstars to get their 40-43 minute games.
                          Anyway, the stats:

                          Chicago 113 Toronto (me) 104
                          12-minute quarters
                          Team stats:
                          FG: Bulls 44.0 Raps 40.5
                          3pt: Bulls 8-26 Raps 8-26
                          FT: Bulls 6-7 Raps 9-13
                          Rebs: Bulls 57 Raps 51
                          Assists: Bulls 22 Raps 29
                          Blocks: Bulls 10 Raps 6
                          Steals: Bulls 7 Raps 5
                          Turnovers: Bulls 9 Raps 13
Off rebounds: Bulls 6 Raps 7 (very, very happy with this number)
Fast break points: Bulls 14 Raps 8

                          Key player stats:
                          Turkgolu 29-8-2 11-31 39mins
                          Bosh 26-21-4 13-27 38mins
                          Bargnani 17-9-0 7-15 38mins
                          Calderon 16-1-9 8-9 32mins
                          Bellinini 8-5-1 3-6 21mins
                          Nesterovic 4-5-0 2-7 18mins

                          Rose 21-1-12 9-18 38mins
                          Hinrich 18-1-4 6-12 27mins
                          Deng 17-3-4 7-14 33mins
                          Noah 14-9-2 (6blks) 7-9 30mins
                          Salmons 14-5-3 6-23 31mins
                          Miller 13-11-0 6-18 30mins
                          Thomas 10-12-1 5-7 22mins

As you can see from the player stats, other than Salmons getting more shots than I'd like to see, the stats were pretty reasonable.
Clearly I have to get over my infatuation with Turkgolu, but there is something about those Turkish players.

I lost the game and never once at any point of the game felt cheated!

I lost with the Celtics against the Magic 90-87. There were too few FT attempts again (7 and 14). FG attempts were on the low side of average (78 and 73). Rebounds were, therefore, also too low (32 and 34) I think the NBA average for rebounds is 45 per game. The Magic had a good three point stat (6-17) but I was only 2-9. Fastbreak points were only 2 for them and 8 for me. Assists were good (20 and 24). Both FG percentages were high (50 and 52.1). Lowering this will help increase rebounds. I hope this helps.
