I think with 10 min sliders the fga's are perfect. Getting like high to mid 70's up to low 90's. Once the Fts are patched ill be really happy.

Interesting, I played on Pro like you guys are suggesting and it felt very good with some slider adjustments. It seems like a more realistic experience.

Once the fouls are patched, I think we are gonna have to playing 12 minute quarters. Currently on 12s, FGAs are generally somewhere between 90 and 100 depending on the team. After the fouls are patched, about 10-15 of these FGAs will be called fouls and, therefore, turn into the NBA average of between 20 and 30 FTAs per game, and the FGAs will return to average also (I think the range from last year was 71 to 86 FGAs per game).

In fact 16 teams in the NBA avg 11 or more offensive rebounds per game.

I actually have the rebounding sliders at 75 Defensive vs 5 Offensive. But that's because I want to see more teams get out in transistion and run.

But i'd say to play a few more game and see if you could knock about 3-4 offensive rebounds from their total by simpluy getting used to game play. As you can see those rebounds weren't that much higher than the 16 teams I mentioned.
Very good point. I honestly didn't relaize that. But still SA only getting 3? Sounds like I need to work on my game. But all in all the game did "feel" better. I think it was the speed. I'm still working on calling plays. I get sooo hot on offense and then get cold but that's realistic. My rebounding looked bad over all though. I'll work on it and post some feedback tonight hopefully. I felt like I could actually be competative because of some good defense and execution on the offensive end. I mean come on I lost by like 4 points to a very good team(DEN) that's hard to defend for 4 qtrs. Thanks PLaymaker & L4D. I'll keep plugging away. Oh ya and Playmaker....GO SPURS GO!!! lol

                I love these sliders.
Thought I would take a strong team vs. a mid-level team this time.

Cavs (me) 105 at Bucks 91

                Team stats:
                FG: Cavs 49.0 Bucks 36.2
                3pt: Cavs 4-9 Bucks 2-9
                FT: Cavs 7-7 Bucks 13-15
                Reb: Cavs 55 Bucks 42
                Asst: Cavs 17 Bucks 19
                Blocks: Cavs 13 Bucks 4
                Turnovers: Cavs 10 Bucks 8
Off rebs: Cavs 11 Bucks 12
FB pts: Cavs 8 Bucks 2
                2nd chance pts: Cavs 16 Bucks 20

                Player stats:
                James 33 pts 15-26 2-2 (3pt)
                williams 17 7-16 1-3 (3pt)
                Parker 11 5-12 1-4
                Shaq 10 5-13
                Hickson 10

                Rebs: Hickson 15, Illguaskas/Hickson 11 each, Shaq 10
Asst: Four guys tied with 3

                Redd 26 pts 10-28 1-6 (3pt)
                Bogut 20 pts 9-15
                K. Thomas 14 6-12
                Jennings 12 5-16

                Rebs: Bogut 13, Gadzuric 8, Thomas 7
                Asst: Ridnour 10

                Game observations:
                - Was surprised at how much of a halfcourt team Milwaukee is. To be fair, I know little about them, other than stop Redd.
                - Who the hell is J.J. Hickson. He had a great game for me, 10 pts 15 boards 5-6 fg.
                - I loved that I could use LeBron like LeBron with these sliders. You give him room, he stuffs it down your face. Frankly, I thought he stats were pretty accurate in this game.
                - Fair number of free throws, though like everyone else I'd like to see more.
                - Block numbers by Cavs a tad high, but Z and Shaq are big guys in the post, so it may not be that big a deal.
                - I might be inclined to raise the CPU's 3-pt rating ... not sure at this point.

                Defensive matchups:
                - Do they work? I switched LeBron to cover Redd and it pretty much never happened.

Re: L4D's NBA LIVE 10 *PRO* GAMEPLAY SLIDERS

These sliders are just sick! I made couple of personal adjustments(lowered blocks and offensive rebounds to 0 for both and DEF Rebounds to 100) and my stats are pretty accurate.

I see a lot less "that is BS" moments from the CPU on the PRO level. The ridiculous runs, the 20ft. fade away turnarounds, and other nonsense I've seen on the higher levels. The runs exist but they are much more realistic.

The only stats that I'm seeing that are a little off are fouls, CPU turnovers, and User steals. I'm getting less than 5 steals a game and the CPU is regularly under 10 TOs. Just a bit low.

Played two games in my Cavs franchise today. Both games at home. Lost the first one to the Wizards and then beat the Bulls.

The more I get to know my team and their tendencies the better this game plays. After using the Cavs so much I know what just about every player likes to do. His hot/cold spots on the floor, drive left/right, finish/pull up, etc. This DNA stuff works pretty well.

LeBron on the off ball screen jumper just the side of the line in just sick. Delonte and Mo spotting up are just nasty. Lebron's 3 ball from the wing? Not so hot. Top of the key? He's knocking them down. Mo loves to drive left and pull up. Filthy.

Isn't the CPU running a lot less plays on Pro?
I lowered the CPU shot sliders to 45 on All-Star and it seems to work fine for me. Tried that against Atlanta and even though they went into berzerk mode in Q4, it was still a pretty close game, which I lost by 5. CPU FG % was at 47 due to that 4th quarter.

Third game with most current sliders: Charlotte (me) v. Orlando (CPU) on 12 minute quarters.

                            Points: 116/108
                            FG%: 50.5/43.1
                            FGA: 91/109
                            3P%: 21.4/30.8
                            FT%: 95.5/83.3
                            FTA: 22/12
                            Reb: 50/41
                            Assists: 21/28
                            Blocks: 10/7
                            Steals: 4/8
                            Turnovers: 13/11
                            Fouls: 9/14
                            OReb: 6/8
                            Fastbreak: 6/12

Thoughts: User FG% seems a little high the past few games resulting in higher than average score (especially for the Bobcats). The high number of FGA should be resolved with foul patch. I think the low user 3P% may just be the team. The onyl reason FTA and FT% were so high was because they kept fouling Felton at the end to stop the clock. Blocks were somewhat high but remember that Dwight Howard and Tyson Chandler were patrolling their respective lanes.

Question for L4D: Have you considered lowering fatigue a bit? I have noticed with fatigue this high, substitutions are like hockey line changes. The subs come in too early and all at once. I think with a lower fatigue that the subs will be more strategic. For example, Terry will come in for the Mavs somewhat early, while those at the end of the bench will not see action except for in a blowout. Matt Carroll didn't play much last year, but he has been subbed in with this fatigue setting. The foul patch will also help with the subbing issue. Players will be more likely to get in foul trouble and, therefore, get subbed out. I have noticed that all starters seem to get thirty some minutes instead of their actual numbers. Dampier hardly ever gets close to 40 minutes in real life but does with this setting. With fatigue this high, the computer just subs in the freshest pair of legs instead of strategically subbing like many teams do. I just think a slightly lower setting might produce more desirable results. Let me know if you want to give it a shot. Thanks.
