If I can get the CPU to quit throwing so many Alley-oops I think these might be the slider set for me. When DNA hits since I have not changed any Global edits this may work out just fine for me. Thanks cabrillo24. Any advice you can offer????

Right now, I'm in the 4th quarter, with 11 minutes to go. Score is 73 Cavs (me) to 75 Spurs. We are in San Antonio. Stats through 3 quarters are as follows:

      Cavs Spurs
      Points 73 75
      FG % 49.1 41.8
      FGM/A 27-55 28-67
      3PT% 50 33.3
      3PTM/A 3-6 4-12
      FT% 76.2 88.2
      FTM/A 16-21 15-17
      REB 28 28
      ASSIST 14 19
      BLOCKS 10 2
      Steals 1 5
      Turnover 12 14
      Fouls 15 11
      O-Reb 1 3
      D-Reb 27 25
      Fast Bre 10 4
      2nd Ch 0 2

Overall, pretty good game. Sloppy as can be. I can't hit a jumper to save my life. Probably 70% of my points are coming from the paint and/or the FT line. I can't hit jack. But the stats are spot on.

Seems like every time I make a run, they buckle down on D.

Woo, finally won a game with these on All-Star. I was down by 14 at the end of the first, but thankfully the Warriors cooled down their shooting.

Those stats look great guys, especially the free throws for the user. I see there's more player edits as well. Might have to give these a go later on.

I think alley-oop modifications are a double edged sword in this game. Anything less and they rarely make any attempts, but the good thing is that about 1/3 of the lobs end up becoming turnovers on the CPU's part. I'm seeing about 4 lob attempts on average by the CPU per game. Played last night against the Suns and the Steve Nash started off the game with this lob to Amare and he took it in for a reverse dunk (looked smooth and natural...gave me goosebumps). Final score 121-116 (Lakers victory)...high scoring game, expected but Steve Nash has been averaging 47 PPG against me (I like to guard with Fisher) and Nash just burns me. Step away he'll knock the jumper, stay too close he'll drive in, finds the open man...he's the hardest player I've played against. I think this is in part because in my Dynasty season, Jason Richardson is coming off the bench...so it forces Nash to score more with that starting lineup.

FYI, I love Grant Hill's jumper in the game

It's all about weathering the storm, just like a real NBA game. Bad teams can still be blown out, you just have to play smart. 0 assist for James? LOL. You get more assist than me. I get around 12 per game at most for the Lakers, but I also run the triangle and what not, a lot of isolation and a lot of time on the block so I don't really get a ton of assist scenarios unless I'm hitting an open man, or I'm on a fast break.

It'll take a little practice, but your shooting will improve. Last game with the Suns I hit (6) 3 pointers in a row with Shannon Brow (I have his timing down perfect, almost there with Artest too) Kobe, I'm still trying to get his timing down perfect.

He torched you too? Was Richardson starting? Steve Nash is probably the hardest guy to guard in this freaking game. Chris Paul had 21 points and 12 assist against me, but he didn't over power the game, but for some reason Steve Nash is just a monster. It's within the flow of the game though, so it's not frustrating like you want to throw down the controller or anything.

I think Nash dropped 35 points on me with 12 or 13 assists. It was painful for the very reasons you said. And that was with Richardson starting

And yeah, I had no assists with LeBron. When it got late in the game, every time I got him the ball, I decided to put his skills to the test, rather than trust Mo/West/Parker with the ball

Lebron says that you better utilize his passing skills, or else he's coming for you... lol.

I'm nearly averaging a triple double with LBJ. That game against the Spurs, he ended up with 41 pts, 13 assists, and 9 rebounds. OH so elusive.

I'm really enjoying this slider set though. I'm gonna play a few more games before work today. Have the house to myself.

I'm averaging about 34 ppg, 5 rpg and 4 ast with Kobe. I started the season on the default sliders and was reaching 40-50 and one game 62 points, now with my sliders, I think the max I've seen Kobe hit was 35. I'm sure I could explode for more if I just ball hogged with him, but I think I'd end up losing big time.
