Finally.. List of Sliders!

Hey fellas!

To kick off the early release of NBA Live 2005, I went and made a list of all the sliders included in this year's game! Here they are:

User Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability
User Freestyle Effectiveness
User Dunk vs. Lay-up Frequency
User Substitution Frequency
User On-ball Defense Assist
User Offensive Rebounding
User Defensive Rebounding
User Fakeout Discipline
User Short Range Shooting
User Medium Range Shooting
User Long Range Shooting
User Dunk Percentage
User Lay-up Percentage
User Adjusted Shot Percentage
User On-ball Defense
User Poor Release Shot Percent
User Double-team Effectiveness

CPU Sliders

CPU Steal Ability
CPU Interception Ability
CPU Shot Block Ability
CPU Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability

CPU Offensive Rebounding
CPU Defensive Rebounding
CPU Fakeout Discipline
CPU Short Range Shooting

The only changes are in bold.... Not TOO exciting, but the addition of pro hop and drop step sliders still give us something to work with...

so when you test the sliders, are you going to test them while playing a season/dynasty or exhibition?

Season testing is not as important as Exhibition testing... keep that in mind. All season games are are Exhibition games that count... Players still have their best 5, and sub in the same fashion. The only extras added are injuries. PLUS, if a player decides to up his team's ratings by trades or hiring personal coaches.



Actually, I create my own "season" to keep track of slider results... It makes it easier to look at lots of stuff.

I thought that also...but there's tonnes of 'small' things in the vids that really have me excited. Spacing, boarding, double teaming...

I think we can use the 'base' sliers Pared built...but things like ORB at 100 last year (not that it helped) won't be needed.

Looking forward to trying whatever Pared comes up with.

Yes, there are plenty of numbers that look like they will be the same as last year (or at least VERY SIMILAR), such as speed and blocks...

I'm still not going to set them up that way right away, as I want to see if they've made any changes "under the hood" to affect anything...
