sales.. money. lack of committment on MS's part. they most likely didnt see it as a money maker long term.

Ugh.. Cause they weren't that great..I played the last ID demo & it blew..The animations..Maybe the AI is better then EA/VC, but from my couple of hrs with the demo, there was a lot of things wrong with the game..Seemed very minor league in many aspects..Redskins Fan. The 82 Smurfs will never die. 83/88/92 NFL world champions!!

EA, EA, EA, not confirmed but word is that MS would get EA Sports Online if MS dropped their Sports Catalog. It's ironic that EA Sports Live was announced around the time MS said no more XSN Games. Shortly after that they dropped their sports line.Comment

Re: So Why Did Microsoft Stop Making Inside Drive Now?
EA blackmailed MS into dropping its competing sports games and XSN to allow EA games on Xbox Live. That's why you never saw 2005 follow-ups to Rivals, Inside Pitch, Inside Drive, Links or Fever because they were competitors to EA games.
You did see a sequel to Rallisport Challenge because EA doesn't have a rally game.
Didn't Take Two buy the Top Spin franchise and release Top Spin 2? Sort of irrelevant, since EA doesn't have a tennis game, either. Just curious.
Take care,

Yeah but ID's people work for VC now and you could tell with the player tendancies that were added in 2k6.Comment
