    Slider Settings - ID2k3

Anyone got any good slider settings for veteran and all star for inside drive 2k3 ? I'm going to give it another go after playing 2k3 for a while and getting a bit bored with the lack of player movement.

I had a quick look on these forums also but couldn't find nothing so I just played a number of games and decided what needed to be adjusted.

You might just have to do that unless someone has them.

I have some that are giving me very realistic stats but I am not winning any games with them. I like the challenge but if you don't like losing these are not for you. I am 1-6 in my franchise with these.

      All Star 8 min quarters

      player speed +2

      cpu and user blocks +2

cpu and user steals -5 (all the way down)

cpu and user 2 pointers -2

cpu and user 3 pointers -1

cpu and user FT's 0 (default)

      cpu and user dunks -2

      cpu and user dekes 0

      cpu and user hookshots -1

How do you get realistic stats using only 8 min quarters? do you play fast offense? I use 10 min quarters and get pretty good stats.

I don't get the most realistic scores about 70 - 80 points a game if I play at a normal pace but if I really step up the tempo I can get to 100 points in a game. 10 minute quarters would probably be better for realistic scores but I don't mind 70 to 80 point games and it makes a 25 point game from my star player good as compared to constantly getting 40 point games. If my star player is going to score 40 or more points in a game I want it to be a real incredible performance instead of a common occurence.

ok. I play my games with medium tempo and don't score 40 points in a game with my star unless I give it to him all the time. I like to play more as a team. If I try to purposely get 40+ points to my star I probably loose the game.

I'm playing at all stars 7 mins Q and my scores are usually in the 80s but so far I have only 1 or 2 games which my star player can score over 30.

I was using 8 min quarters but only averaging about 80 or just under 80 a game.

I'm using 9 now and getting realistic numbers.

What do you guys set the "quarter simulation" at in franchise mode? I think its set to 16 minute by default.

wow, 16 is TOO much. Guys score 50+ ppg. 11 gives the best results. I simmed a few 82 game seasons with both 11 and 12 minute quarters and decided to go with 11. Otherwise the stats are good but other teams get too few rebounds and too many turnovers.

Yeah, I use 11 as well. 12's just a bit much as the top offense teams are scoring 110+ppg.
