GRAPHICS:
NBA 2k3: 98% (bad animations and crowd)
NBA Live 2003: 89% (Bad faces, crowd and sometimes animations are sticky)
ID 03: 87% (Stiff animations, ok faces, bad crowds and okay animations)
CONTROLS:
NBA 2k3: 86% (good, but more moves would be better)
Live 03: 88% (Direct passing is a pain, but freestyle makes up for it)
ID 03: 91% (Simple and easy to use, love it, sometimes un-responsive)
DIFFICULTY:
NBA 2k3: 91% (Sliders, but 3 points and Easy shots are missed 2 much)
NBA 03: 80% (I usually start out with Pro difficulty, and I won by 10 on All-Star)
ID 03: 88% (Playing Defense is great, but offense is too easy, or maybe im just getting real good at basketball games)
LASTING VALUE:
NBA 2k3: 96% (Online simply makes it last a while, along with sliders)
Live 03: 75% (Online on PS2, but you cant really go through a whole franchise)
ID 03: 88% (Not Online, but Sliders and Franchise)
SOUND:
NBA 2k3: 88% (Sounds like an arena, but maybe ESPN announcers would make it better)
Live 03: 78% (Ok announcers, Ok crowd, Ok sound, but great music)
ID 03: 85% (Great announcers, ok crowd and ok sound effects)
FEATURES:
NBA 2k3: 95% (Sega is King at this, Sliders, Deep Franchise and online play)
Live 03: 90% (normal modes, but now freestyle)
ID 03: 88% (A demo, Sliders and ok franchise mode)
GAMEPLAY (the biggest factor):
NBA 2k3: 90% (3Point % low, easy shots missed, Cold Streaks sometimes unrealistic)
Live 03: 80% (All stats realistic except: Steals, Blocks and sometimes FG %, if you can actually see them move, then bump it up 10%
)
ID 03: 91% (Game plays great, FG % sometimes to high, so are steals)
OVERALL:
NBA 2k3: 94% (Amazing game, a few gameplay tunes and all games better watch out, too slow and bad animations though)
Live 03: 84% (good animations, but freestyle control doesnt help much)
ID 03: 87% (If it werent for the weak presentation, player faces, stiff animations and weak crowd, It would have been REAL close to NBA 2k3)
Overall I still like NBA 2k3 best. Live is 3rd, too fast and aracadish. ID 03 is great, but not quite there. Good Job to Sega (for the best basketball game), EA Sports (for freestyle ccontrol and good music) and Microsoft (for a great game). BTW, I would like some feedback, if you disagree dont flame though, this is more of a what-game-to-get , depending which is more important for you kind of topic
