I can say the hot and cold streaks in 2K was taken from ID 2002. Live borrowed the player icons that tell the User who's a better slasher, 3 pt shooter, etc. What else? We need to give credit where credit it due!

I love how ID 2003 does the cold streaks last night. Last night, I was losing by like 20 to the Mavericks as the T-Wolves, but once Garnett got hotI was able to ride him and get back into the game. It's a lot a better then what they do in Live, by only having the player stay hot until the other team hits a single shot.Comment

yeah, that's pretty funny... hot and cold has been around for quite a while now.
i doubt there's anything either used after ID (no games "steal" anything...if that's the case ID stole 90% of its stuff from these two games b/c of the simple fact they had years of development under their belts when ID was still in development).
