    Edits for Inside Drive

How have you changed the ratings for players like Amare Stoudemire, Ricky Davis and other breakout players of the current season.

yes- i've been wondering why nobody has posted this topic yet. I've noticed quite a few issues with some players- particularly with 3-point shooting. There were some players (i can't remember who right now) I've never heard of with a 3-point rating in the 80's. I think the highest one I saw was 91 (I don't remember who). Since there is a separate slider in gameplay for 3-pointers, why doesn't the best shooter start at 99? The first guy I did modify was Amare- I put his jumping at 85 and his strength at 93. Does anyone else want to share others?

Yeah, I don't want to make his attributes that high because then he'll probably develop into the best player ever, but I want to make him play like he does now. Anybody else with suggestions?

I edited Amare, Big Ben (To 13 rpg) and Ricky but had trouble with him.

For some reason, no edits I did changed his scoring. I put all his shooting (short, mid, long) up to 99 just to see and his was still only avg around 16 ppg.

I tinkered with the AI tendencies but only slightly.

What edits did everyone else do for Ricky to get him to score more and what other players did you edit.

That's why I only changed his physical attributes- strength and jumping. He is obviously one of the strongest guys and he's got springs in his legs. This will not change in the next year and I'm sure ID2004 will update this- so why not do it now?

Also, how do you change back to the default 2002-2003 rosters without losing all of your updates? I see the option to "restore defaults", but I don't want to lose anything. Is there a way to do this?

simply go to options ,game settings then gameplay in there pick rosters and instead of custom pick 2003-2003.

i edited some of the ratings too!
I increased Amare's strength and ability to score in traffic.
He just dunks on everybody like they were nothing.

16 pts per game is just about right. You won't be able to make him average a ton of points coz he's playing with Shawn Marion and Marbury. Theyre the primary options. Of course you could change AMare's, Marbury's, and MArion's A.I. individual slider settings if you really want Amare to be the go to guy. You could adjust it to make Marbury and Marion pass the ball more often then. Then adjust Amare's sliders to make him go for the rack evrytime he gets the ball.

damn, ID2003's indivudual AI sliders are awesome.

btw, i also increased RAfer Alston's ratings a bit. to make him more decent. He's really playing well in Tonronto right now.

I also thrashed Adfolfo Zaun's stats and made a different Yao Ming.

xzhady- i tried that, but when I go back to General Manager and select edit rosters, my custom roster shows up. So I can't view the default ratings. Are you sure you see the defaults when you do this?
