Drive to the hoop. Bottom line.

Also raise the fouls to a maximum in the sliders depertment.

interesting. B/c I did the same and still had trouble. In fact, I just found myself gettin called for charging.

I haven't played NBA 2k3 extensively enough to really comment on it, but I know from what I have played that driving to the basket and raising the foul calls doesnt seem to do enough for me.

In ID2003, driving to the basket isn't always the answer either. I found that I'm fouled more on jumpshots. A guy runs at me and I fall, or a guy hits my shooting hand. But when I drive to the basket, nothing. I see contact, but nothing is called and I have the calls on Strict.

I would say that is somethin that needs to be addressed in ID, and most basketball games. Maybe 2k has solved the problem, which would be a huge plus for the series.

i got really pissed once while playing ID 2003 because at the end of the 4th qtr i had the lead with the pacers, I was facing Baron Davis and his hornets and there was .6 secs left in the 4th qtr i had the lead by 1 point and i thought i had it won, because its very hard to shoot in .6 secs so hornets had the ball they pass it to B.Diddy and he shoots a 3 point all the way from the other court...my jaw dropped cuz i thought he couldn't make it in .6 secs and especially all the way from there the ball went in after the buzzer, but it was shot before it so i guess it counted, man was i mad ....I hate losing close games, especially when they go OT

i'm sorry that you lost, but that is kool.

I have not seen a half court shot go in yet in ID2003. I've seen like two hit the rim and come close, but most of the others hit the backboard or go short.

Really? What are your slider settings in ID 2003? Do you get a lot of shooting fouls called against you or do you just get the other team to foul you through reach-ins and pushing fouls to get to the line through the penalty and stuff? Also, do you attack the basket in a deliberate way so that you're also attacking a defender and not just trying to score? I can easily drive to the basket, the problem is getting fouled though.

getting fouled in 2k3 is not that hard to do...when you drive the lane and the defensive player is in that circle under the basket it`s GUARANTEED to be a foul!

this is one thing sega needs to fix for 2k4!! you don`t see as many blocks because of this and it`s just too easy to pick up that 3 point play..
