    Re: Inside Drive for PS2?

I think Im sold. Thanks. Any more info on franchise mode would be appreciated though. Like i said Im not overly concerned about options. Just more that everything works teh way its supposed to. I think the major flaw with alot of these games nowadays is these designers try to fill up these games with so much stuff, but when it comes down to it it doesnt do what it is supposed to. ID sounds like it is what im looking for.. Ill have to see it to believe it though.

yeah... if you have a gamestore like gamestop or gamecrazy in your area (yes, their REALLY is a place called gamecrazy in my area) they will let you play the game first before you buy it. so most likely you will be able to check it out first.

i suggest when you first play it watch for the player that`s trying to get open. and watch the play unfold! the way ID plays BB is just AWESOME!!! then use button 'B' and try out the moves.. they work pretty good but not nearly as effective as say LIVE`s freestyle or 2k3`s back down and spin...

and if it`s your first time to play ID.. you`ll probably get your *** handed to you but don`t worry it happens to rookies!

this game is really all about match ups and adjusting to what your opponent is doing and keeping an eye on that STAR player!

it`s a GREAT GAME! have fun!

franchise mode is nice...trading is difficult only because the computer is not going to accept nothing for something...you are gonna' have to give up a good player for a good player..the sliders are nice, you may make some very minor adjustments(most of us have),but it is a very playable and competative game right out of the box, and the player editor feature is very deep ,it allows you not to just make your player better but to make them play different...you really can't go wrong

I saw the tighest play unfold from none other than Chris Wilcox of LAC. I was at the top of the key, he set a screen for Andre Miller, and basicially it was a give and go. Dre passed to Chris and from about 12 feet away he jumped up with two hands in the lane, and jamed it home , over the Maverick defenders.

This game's pretty tight. I was losing 7-30, in my first ever game before I turned it off. The mavs really try to run up the score. Those" Bitches". lol

Overall, it's just an enjoyable , one player, solo game. It's challenging at least for now.

Hey Wally I saw your boy on Espn this week. He seems to be the go to guy for the Lobos. I hope he tries to go pro, because it seems he could add to anyone's team. Is he a senior?

Yeah' he's a senior. I heard last night from the game a few nights ago, that he had 60% of his team's points. The team only scored 5 pts. in the last 8 minutes of the game. They lost by 9(i think).

He's older than all the rest, because he sat out his Sophmore year due to his transfer from Arizona.

Arizona recruited him like crazy that national championship season. After Miles Simon, Bibby, and Dickerson left, Ruben started at SG his freshman year and had 8 ppg. THat next year, he transfered to UNM, sat out, and has been playing GREAT since.

                      8 ppg, freshman year
                      15 ppg, sophmore year
                      18 ppg, junior year
                      26 ppg, senior year.

One thing he does really well, He creates his own shots. YOu give him, 6 inches of SPACE to shoot it, He'll shoot that ball right between your eyes.

I am still in love with ID 2002, Ijust got spanked in the playoffs
against the Spurs two times in a row.

If you ever go into the playoffs with an injured player you
will wine and cry like a baby!

The Spurs are exploiting Rashard lewis bum leg all game
(sonics) he can't buy a shot.

I am in the west coast Championship tied 2-2

By the way this game has made a few of my xbox doubting
friends beg to get over my house.
