Need help on defense in Inside Drive

Like alot of people here, I went out and bought ID yesterday at the low price of $29.99. I like the game so far, but I'm having serious issues on the defensive side. The guy I'm guarding (normally the point guard) drives inside all the time and gets an easy close range shot (dunk, 2 footer, or layup). I've been using my point guard to guard the CPU's PG and been using the right trigger to get low on him. I've only played 2 games, but Andre Miller and Mike Bibby each scored 40 on me in 8 minute quarters.

Maybe you can try double teaming the guy with the hot hand, and if he does get inside a lot, your center should be able to, at times, jump out and block the shot...maybe that could help...?

you need to stick to the guy with the ball. hold down the "left" button and this will get your defensive player set and just stay close to the guy with the ball and this will cut down tremendously on the drives!

also read the manual it talks about this in the "ASK COACH" sections scattered throughout the manual. just practice you will get it.
