Fixing the foul game in ID '03
Just set the foul out to 5 instead of 6 fouls. You get in foul trouble, so does the comp (helps with startegy, get shaq on the bench, etc), and you get to the line better because of bonus is lower (i think)!! It works well yo!! ID is the [censored] by the way. Used to play 2k3 alot. Wow, what ****ty AI in that game. Hope this helpsGT: Event Horizon 0Tags: None -

That's what I do.
I thought most people would do this? ie, if you play 9 minute quarters...then fouls should be 5 etc. if you play 6, fouls at 4.
People should try it out.

I've been playing with 5 fouls since I started my franchise, and it really didn't help me get to the line. The only difference was, if someone got 2 fould early, the CPU would sit them for a while. I'm still lucky if I shoot 10 FTs in a game.Comment

I can get to the line around 10 times in general by halftime. This is with 12 minute quarters though. I work the ball around, try to attack the rim, I get close to my defender, jab step, see him back off a bit, and if he backs up a little too far I'll shoot the jump shot. Otherwise I'll try to penetrate and shoot the layup or dunk the ball, or just pumpfake to get him in the air and then just take a few steps and then hit the jumpshot. You have to give the AI a chance to make contact with you, so use the turbo very judiciously. If you use it too much, you end up running away from the defense and you won't get fouled. That might be something they can work on, for example, they can just make the turbo very limited and only give you a short sprint before going back to regular speed or something like that. Right now the turbo is just way too fast, so you and your opponent can use it to pretty much avoid contact. Also, you should not look to shy away from contact. If you see two defenders, and they have some space between them, go through that space, shoot the J or go for a layup/dunk. There's a greater chance one of them will foul you then. Also use the pivot button at times, to get your defender to compromise his position and blow by him (without using turbo of course) and he'll likely foul you as well.Comment
