Hilarious... your absolutely right. that's why coaches should stay on the sidelines. but if he's getting beat bad of course he's "instructing" the team on fine art of help defense LOLOL

Damn, that was funny!!! So true, son! If I were to be one of those characters, I would probably be called the "Oreo", LOL. You know, the athletic looking black dude who you expect to be all flash but all he does is shoot jumpers and play D like a old school white guy.

Back in the day, my boys used to hate my style cause they knew it was more efficient, it just had no flava to it. Truth is, I always wanted to do what they could I just couldn't, so I played the high and mighty "fundamental role" as if I chose that route, LOL!

But every now and again, I'd pull off a sick cross on somebody cause they would close too hard on my jumper and it would make it look like I had mad handles that I was hiding to be modest or something. Man, sometimes playing it cool and being stereotyped can actually work for you sometimes. Not much though.

        I'll fess up.

I'm 'All Hustle / No Skillz' guy.

I'm a relentless defender, dive for loose balls, takes charges, set hard picks (that get me knocked on my azz) open layup blowin' mutha.

I was the runt until I hit late teens, so that style kept me from getting picked last and still does.

        All good.

Hysterical short film, b/c it's ALL TRUE.

I can't stand "Clear it up" guys. Ugh, that's so frustrating because it's always the guys with zero agility and no ballhandling skills.
That's me. I can't drive to save my life, so I just stay around the perimeter and take my shots when I get them.

I'm in the same boat as you. I play great D, I average 1 or 2 blocks, 3-5 steals and about 5 boards. On offense I may average a bucket or 2 and 5-7 assists.

I always end up playing with the always fouled guy and never foul guy.
