Just how do you define a sim, Blue_Monkey? Realistic stats tell only one side of the story, and even then, it's not at all an accurate one at that. I would love to see ID 2003 get every single aspect of b-ball down right, but now I think that each and every NBA game seems to focus on a few aspects to nail down, that THEY feel are crucial to representing the NBA the best. I don't think it's even possible yet to get a game that truly represents every aspect of the NBA, simply because companies just do not cooperate with each other. Each one has their own library of animations, their own design decisions, their own approach to the game. And in a way, each one does a great job, but their actual choices are what distinguishes one from another. It really depends on what the player's looking for as far as their justification to call a game a sim.
