What is the most important aspect to you

I started this in another forum but they said it would be better here.

What is the most important aspect in a BBgame to you? Is it crowd animations and lighting, player likenesses, game play, depth, the announcers?

Gameplay first, then graphics. Here's NBA 2K4, for example, it had the best graphics you can ask, but the gameplay was crap, so the whole game turned out to be crap for me.
As for commentary, it's great to have a good one, but even if it's bad the game can still be great - if it has great gameplay.

yah graphics are good and all for the first time you see the game on a nice tv, but if the gameplay isnt good, then it wont matter. theres a reason people still love to play older games, and it aint the 64 or whatever bit graphics. If a sports game has good gameplay, and if it has a franchise mode where you control a dynasty or players progression, then it will do well.

yeah definitely gameplay over graphics. nba live comes out with a good looking game every year, but the AI sucks. 2k doesnt look as good, but has definitely won over fans with its gameplay.

nba 09 is gonna be the one i go with, because the graphics will be fine (its ps3 people) and the life feature looks tight (for those not familiar, this is where you control an up and comer on and off the court, rise up through the dleague and star on an nba team, but also buy benzs and club hop with ten chicks on each arm)

so i guess to answer your question, i do care about the looks of the game, but i ultimately want a game thats unique and i wont get bored with. (and the club hopping doesnt hurt either. lol.)
