If I remember correctly, there was a 2K6 trailer on MTV or something, showing street ball on the 360. That's why I thought it was 2K6.

Since no one knows, it's called TV Sports Basketball and it came out in 1990. Here's the cover:



You have probably noticed that it's Michael Jordan on the cover but they painted his jersey in green and changed his number, so MJ can't sue 'em or something...looks pretty lame...LOL.
Anyway, all players looked the same in this game but the funny part is that it had faked names. For instance, in the Chicago Bulls there was a player called Mike Jordache...ha ha, that was funny! And all NBA players had these kind of names. So I remember that in 1992 or 1993 one time I sat for 2 hours to edit all players' names and attributes. But the great thing about this game was that it may have been the first game to let you glide with the player and release the ball when you chose to. I remember one time gliding with Pippen from one side of the rim to the other and then releasing the ball - MJ style. This game was addicting!

Slam and Jam is a GREAT game, it got a ton of time on my 3DO, I think I still have a copy of it for the PS2, I'll have to dust it off.

Damn, I can't see that pic anymore, for some reason it wouldn't show up. But the game is called Street Hoops and it features some And1 legends (released in 2002). You can say that it's the original game before the And1 game that was released a year or two ago.

Well, someone else might wanna put another one...
