    Live vs 2K comparison thread

    I figured I'd make this thread for people to have a guide so to speak to go to regarding what features are in Live that aren't in 2K and vice versa, to make it easier to decide which to buy. Of course, there's gonna be some stuff that's just speculation/rumors/etc, so I'll update when we get new info.

    In Live, not in 2K:

    -Hangar, ability to shoot around during load times
    -Dynamic attendance
    -Season storylines
    -ESPN logos during games in season mode that are on ESPN IRL
    -Certain crowds booing certain players (VC in Toronto)
    -Multiple pre-game rituals (only LeBron chalk confirmed for 2K10)
    -Authentic team sets and plays (not yet confirmed to be absent from 2K10)

    In 2K, not in Live:

    -Players getting up off bench and going to scorer's table when user calls for sub
    -Tip dunks (not yet confirmed to be absent from Live 10)
    -Signature ballhandling style
    -NBA D-League

    Anything I missed, feel free to add to the list. Just c/p the list and bold your addition so it's easier

                          I he doesn't lock it. This is a cool thread, just keep it consistent to how it started. The first post proved we can have 2k vs. Live debates without sounding vulgur or bitter. To add...

                          In Live, Not in 2k:
                          -500 sneaker variations with the abilty to add more in a patch.
                          -Patchable Head models if a Player has a Hair style change through online update. (Stephensonmc hinted at this in a post)
                          -Signature Player Facial animations and Re-Actions

                          In 2k, Not in Live:
                          -Summer League.
                          -9, 000 animations (Sounds silly but they're marketing it so...)
                          -My Player (Like Road to the show for MLB on Playstation)

                          P.S I have a feeling the Signature Ballhandling and Player go to Plays are in Live as well.

                                  Wow, that's crazy they were allowed to do Dynamic Attendance... that's awesome. And yeah, so far, Live's got the features covered I think... 2K's got the extra game modes, but EA's been pretty mum about the other modes.

                                  Can't wait for this big secret news and the gameplay blog today. Wooo!

                                              I will not lock this thread unless the flame wars start. The worst that will happen is it gets moved to the general basketball board but a feature comparison thread, this is somewhat, that Mill allowed in the Madden forums for the Madden/2k5 feature comparison...not a straight game comparison

                                                          apparently there are no over the back fouls or loose ball fouls in Live and in 2K there is
                                                          It's a failure on 3 levels: programming/QA/Production. That's all I can say.-iminurbase
