Are you saying you can't tell who is who? Because IMO I can tell who everyone is at any given time on the court. JMO though.

I can easily tell who's who, so neither game is terrible in that regard. However, like that picture of Derrick Rose that steph posted in the Live forum, I couldn't tell who that was without the Bulls jersey. That may be the one instance where that was the case.

In general, though, I believe they have more room for improvement. It's serviceable from gameplay cam, but again, there's more room for improvement, which means that they are currently lagging behind a bit.

This is all in personal preference. I personally love Lives graphical style. 2k's seems like they haven't really changed in 3-4 years. Don't get me wrong, faces have been updated, and textures have been added, but the art "style" has just grown old on me.

This year, the colors do look better than in years past with 2k, but I still love the art style of Live. The players models are, in my eyes, spot on. From a distance, I can tell who is who, easily. They have length to them, and that's what sets them apart for me.

Look at LBJ's arm texture and bump mapping in that screen... Those muscle details are insane.

He's not even oily in that picture? What are you talking about?

You mean the sweat effect, because when your playing the game after running a quarter. Foul him during the play and when he goes to the close up at the free throw line you can tell it's sweat reflecting off the stadium lights. It's not shiny or oily it's trying something new and I don't see it as a bad as everyone keeps making it.

Just my 2 pennies! And opinion on that matter.BTW Live whens the graphics war and detail war!

Foul him during the play and when he goes to the close up at the free throw line you can tell it's sweat reflecting off the stadium lights. That sleeve is crazy, with the little pad in it. The details on some of these player models are just insane.

Why do so many people keep hating on Live instead of giving them their props. Stop pretending like something is wrong with them every turn you get. And honestly D-Wade is perfect in Live 10.

If you are truly being honest with your self BS you could go back and forth all night and day showing a photo of a player that looks better in live than 2k and vice versa. That stuff is all subjective imo. It's not like 1+1=2............

i dont know if its because of dwights facial expression in 2k10, but i think live's dwight is better.

Why everyone always got to make a unbiased gamer crack just to make a point. First off don't get mad at me because 2ksports is messing up this season. People act like 2ksports can do no wrong. And honestly they are finally at that point where they aren't the big dogs anymore. Previous history of great basketball games, don't take a fact of what they are doing this season.

The graphics engine is showing it's age and the gameplay style is also too much alike now. Live has been poo for so long, they've finally caught up! Hate EA if you'd like because I have for years and I've favored 2ksports / Sega Sports, etc since the Sega Genesis days, but now! I'm just giving EA props, this season it looks like they are the victor's. That doesn't make me bias, it makes me unbiased!

Because I can remove my 2k fanboy cape, long enough to give these guys some credit. Take Two is ruining 2ksports as I've said over and over again for 2 years. This year it's showing! I guess the last 5 years I've been on OS editing every game 2ksports has ever made and free advertising their games out of my car, pulling up in parking lots with my screens and showing my 2kbasketball edits, NBA and College, encouraging them to buy 2k games over EA games, just stands for nothing!

Reality is I am unbiased for once in my life, I'm really recognizing that it's good to have more than one choice, even when one choice is worse than the other. Just seems this season the tables have finally turned. Give some credit man, out of freak'n 9 seasons of *** kickings! Live has taken, they have finally got a Championship belt when it comes to efforts and authenticity in the series. (2ksports)(9) - (EASports)(1). I can admit that! Does it hurt to let them have a year! lol
