Late to the party. Live is pretty good now. Where were you with 2k1, 2k3, 2k7 (I'm not a huge fan but thats when Live really stunk)?Comment

Re: Long time Live player...
Live does have in game injuries in dynasty mode but no in game injuries in dynamic season b/c it will go off real life injuries. But anyway 2k does have a better dynasty mode than live does. I always play both games and 2k's dynasty by far is better.Comment

Re: Long time Live player...
Live is pretty good gameplay wise. But it seems like while gameplay is going up Dynasty is going down. The years you are speaking of is when i had live for last-gen when it was really good. And at that time Live was all i knew in terms of basketball. I didnt know about forums to talk about games and all that good stuff during that time.Comment

For those who keep saying that Live has in-game injuries during dynasty mode:

Re: Long time Live player...
Yeah i know, but i enjoyed Live up until this past version, basically because before 07 i didnt even know about 2k to be honest, and then after that i was too stubborn to change. But last years dynasty in Live just wasnt good. I hated the draft, it was 80% white guys and 10% black dudes with blonde hair, and some of them had the Alan Houston glitch going on (If you dont know what it is just google it). And during the off season it made me re-sign Iverson. My plan was to just let him go and try to sign Gerald Wallace thru FA, but no matter what i did it made me re-sign Iverson. I even had the re-signing & fa signing set to User. But that didnt matter to the game. The game decided i was gonna be stuck with Iverson. And with the lack of dynasty mode info im sure it will be the exact same this year.Comment

Re: Long time Live player...
Another Live guy here making a very late switch this year...Couple questions. I know most of you don't know the answers to these about 2k10, but how was it in 2k9?
1. Can I edit players ratings in franchise mode? Say I don't agree with 2Ks progression, can I manually edit players ratings in association?
2. Can I put all player's overall rating as grades. I like to hide overall ratings in franchise since I find that if real owners/GMs dont have overall numbers at their disposal why should I?
3. How is the draft? Are there sleepers and busts?I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.Comment

Re: Long time Live player...
1-yes
2-they will always have a number but are displayed as grades I thing with an L-stick click they will be displayed as number
and I dont remember completely but I think when your looking at ratings of teams you dont control its only displayed as a grade
3- I dunno, and I dunno if you know but for 2k10 we will be able to download user created draft classes so hopefully that would fix inconsistenciesLast edited by Rockafella2x; 09-26-2009, 10:54 PM.Comment

Re: Long time Live player...
Yeah man same here, it sounds like 2k's Association Mode completely destroys Live's Dynasty. Live's Dynasty was just too plain, no depth to it at all. And i've been wanting an in depth Franchise type mode, and i think ill have it in Association Mode.Comment
