    NBA JAM editor

has anyone here ever considered toying with NBA JAM (or NBA Jam TE, as that is better but probably more complicated) to either make an updater ala finn's updater for nfl 2k5?? everyone loves nba jam, and there's nothing i'd love more than to play a 2009 version with shaq/bron/Z/mo, or perhaps to have an edited early 90s version complete with jordan, shaq, etc. i've messed around with it before but i could find/replace the names in the hex data or whatever, but it didn't show up in game -_- and i'm clueless how to do anything further...but seriously, an editor for one of the most popular sports games of all time, anyone even have the capabilities to go about it or are SNES/genny/32x games too complex? <_< because i see tecmo super bowl kicks ***, and it has like 10 different updates yearly and i think NBA JAM is just as popular, if not more popular than TSB

yeah, i know what you're talking about....but the guy it doesn't seem like that dude's going to make a release anytime soon, and even so he's not making an editor, just putting in the 92 rosters or whatever into the game. i think if someone made a finn-like editor it'd be a much more productive thing to make, since people like me could flood sites with rom hacks of different seasons/rosters instead of just updating the game for one season. although admittedly i do want to play that 'nba jam old school edition' but like i said, the guy has no timeline and we haven't heard anything from him for like half a year, so i mean it's not totally what i'm looking for (although i do want to play it for sure). but just as much as i'd like to play that, i'd like to play a new update with the current rosters....kobe/oden/artest, anyone? i mean there's so much potential if an editor existed
