We have alot more under the hood things than just straight ratings. When determining "success" for a player this year, we'd prefer you look at a player's stats and tendencies than subjective numbered ratings.

When are you guys going to let us get a peek of whats under the hood??? Some gameplay vids or something throw us a bone... 7 days left

No one said he was better... read pls....It was example that u can not plug any PG in and excel... Woman lie, Men lie, Numbers don't. You can only name 4 other point guards that had a better year than rondo.(Paul, Billups, williams and maybe rose) but not to be in top 10??? come on now

Nash, Harris.......but I agree he should be top ten, dude averaged a triple double in the playoffs. I don't think rondo needs a high overall to be effective in game though, since he relies more on speed on offense and is a good on ball defender.

Rondo has to be at least a top 5 point guard. He almost averages a triple double in the playoff last years. Besides Paul and Williams who's better then him? In head to head match-ups Rondo kills Nash, Harris, Nelson, Parker, Billups can't guard him, Rondo makes Calderon look stupid. Him and Rose are close but the C's took the series so I have to give the edge to RR there too.Rondo's only real flaw is his jump shot but that can be fixed, everything else he does great.

Basically a guy like Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan don't have any rating for Helpside defense because it's in their DNA tendencies now?

AND IF THAT IS CORRECT HOW COME WE DON'T SEE ANY DEFENSIVE DNA LISTED IN THE GAME LIKE WE DO FOR OFFENSE?

I noticed a lot of the ratings removed but hey if you say helpside defense, leaping ability, awareness, passing vision and even dunking ability is all now DNA programmed then i guess you guys have come long way in less than two years with that feature

These ratings can't be just looked at and judge guys. It doesn't make any sense. We have two very different games. Build in two different engines. Mike Wang….If anyone hasn’t notice yet. Is bringing a lot of the things that was in 2k into Live. I mean watching his tutorial video of the controls for the Live demo. Made go around to a few lawyers and ask if EA could be brought up on copyright infringement charges…lol 2k’s individual ratings can’t be put next to Live’s. It does not make sense at all. It’s like comparing a sour apple to a russet apple. It’s all comes down to opinion.

I’m assuming most of us haven’t even played the retail versions of both games. I think the main thing we should look for. Is do they play like their real-life counter parts. Yes on paper Rondo seems a little overrated. But does he play like Rondo. Can’t shoot but plays a lot of good D. Is he athletic? Those are questions we should ask ourselves.

Both ratings are str8 overall...Some overrated, some underrated... But for live not to have Rajon Rondo on there top ten point guards is beyond me. Do they watch basketball??

dude he is not that good at all...the guy plays with 3 all-stars. put him on the clippers (no offence clipper fans:wink and he wont do anything.

I can tell you don't watch basketball...and for the record if you put a lot of players in Clipperland they lose their Stardom..ask Baron Davis
