Live 10 vs 2k10 (pure basketball sim)

I know 2k has the my player mode and has more features than live. But i just wanna know which game get it done on the floor at providing a true realistic nba basketball experience. I've only played the demo's and to me live is much more sim than 2k. On 2k its impossible to play great d and almost every shot (cpu and user) go in. Just look at the high fg %. I felt that live rewards you if you play right. For example i tried to cheese kobe like its possible on 2k and found myself losing control of the ball when trying to drive. No 1 on 5 being succesful on live this year. It felt rewarding to run a set. take it to the post, get doubled find the open man, swing the ball if the defense reacts, and finally get that open shot. I wanna know your guy's opinions, i don't care about player faces, shoes, headbands, crowds, im talking nba basketball boys.

pure sim is live. no question. but i still want to get 2k cuz of the amazing presentation and the my player mode

Exactly. And to the topic starter, How do you know 2k dosent play the same way? Do you have both games? If so then your opinion is plausible

thats not what this is. i've preffered 2k for a long time, but this year im gonna get live first. heres how my choice has gone through the year

ive only picked live twice in the last 9 years, im not a fanboy of either game. i just want the one that plays like real nba basketball. to me thats live this year (even though 2k has more features and better presentation this year.)

Just name the thread "I like Live better" instead of masking it as a discussion about both games..

Well, sim is subjective as far as video games goes, but it would help me a lot if guys with both games could tell how challenging both games are in basketball way (running plays, playing proper D, knowing players etc...)?

Why are people taking sides and bashing both games. Both games play great this year IMO.

I was going to ask the same question. I have both and I've enjoyed the hell out of both games. It's good to be a bball fan.

hey i was 14 at the time and a 20 dollar b ball game was godsend. i didn't really pay attention to the sim factor until the 2k7 live 07 years.
