Is it me or do they seem a bit awkward????? On layups it seems like the player goes straight up in the air, instead of up and towards the basket...Also the rest of his body seems to be frozen instead of his arm....On dunks, most of them look like Shaq dunks, and not smaller guys dunking. They need to get a variety of players to do mo-cap for dunks, gaurds, forwards and centers so they won't all have the same dunking style.

It depends on your dunk rating and dunk setting.
Kobe Bryant does a lot of different types of dunks, depending on where he takes off from.
Shaq on the other hand, only does some simple-type dunks and doesnt perform the jordan-type flying dunks. -

I personally think the dunks and layups look better in ID than any of the other solid ball games."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Id does have some of the best looking layups, like the up and under (way better than 2k3's change shot in mid air). The dunks are pretty sweet too. I'm glad they kept Vince Carters dunks in this years version.Comment

Yea they do have the most dunks in any bbaall game and the best looking ones also. I only really Like one in live and only one in 2k3 the rest in 2k3 are ugly.
