    Re: Graphically speaking...

Graphics that you are talking about make no difference to me. I prefer 2k because it just seems like there are more little things.

Faces are so easy to make better on the PC so 2k blows away anything Live has because of that.

During gameplay 2K is jaggy, has low res textures, the player models are too bulky and animations are a part of graphics in 2K's aren't nearly as smooth or realistic. Plus, even before the buggy frame drops (and after the patch) the general frame rate isn't silky smooth at all.

I think 2K's arena's look more solid and both games have example of good and bad faces for players.

On my 50" HD screen, it's hard to even look at 2K after having played Live. I think it's an example of an old and over-used engine that the devs have just pasted layers upon layers onto it without really using much new code.
Delusion/forced opinion in its finest form, definite EA gamer huh

Honestly I like them both! I think 2k has incredible artist and can pull off some amazing details. I think their graphics processor or engine is just outdated. But what they do with what they have is insanely incredible.

          Examples: NBA 2k10

But Live this year is definitely the winner! Their lighting and overall textures and details are King. One thing you will notice is they don't blur the background to keep the player models in focus and can give you full details in Arenas and around player models all at once and no drop frames. Easily the winner this season...

          Examples: NBA Live 10

Man this is a no-brainer. 2K wins. Graphically 2K10 ****s on live10 like a fat chick taking a dump in a run-down motel bathroom after she finished eating 2 spicy burrito from a nearby taco-truck.

Live has some beautiful lighting and textures.

The problem is that the game just falls apart in motion. Its funky movements and animations kill their pretty graphics while 2K's bring their inferior graphics to life.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

man the stuff 2k does with expression and interaction is what sets it apart imo....and 1 with Arenas....dude scowls toward steve nash, butler comes and hugs him and pounds his chest...all in real time....good stuff man

                    When they are still: Live
                    When they are moving: 2K
So 2K is my answer. Both games look amazing though, just my personal preference.
                    Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15

Both games look good but live does shine a lot more and look crispy. Love how sharp the shot clock is in Live.
