    Blame EA not the devs.

They put so much pressure on these talented people to work long hours and adhere to deadlines.

These guys are scurring to meet those deadlines and theres no way they can polish the product the way they want.

they rush whatever innovations are thought of and theyre never fully realized.

Theres so much PROMISE in what NBA Live is TRYING to do but not EXECUTING that one bit.

We need more teams helping out the Live crew.

      .
Remember this same kind of logic when speaking on 2k's game MJ. I doubt that you will.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

        Great post...so true.

This has been a big surprise + let down re LIVE.

I don't understand why they haven't gone through this stuff...it would take one guy a couple of days. Not much.

How do you have Andrew Bynum at a higher 3 point likelihood than Lamar Odom? That's just ridiculous.

To be honest...it also looks unprofessional.

I am pretty amazed when the producers jump into the ratings thread and are "is that his rating? we'll look at it"...like it's a surprise to them.

It looks like no ones even bothered to check this stuff to be brutally honest.............

Seeing Shaq shooting a fadeaway from the post in Live is a disturbing view.

Don't they get these ratings from a 3rd party (synergy)?

Pretty weird that would be in there if that is case.....

Like a lot of idea's this DNA thing sounds fantastic in theory but doesn't work very well in reality. ID used to do a better job of getting teams to play like themselves than Live10 does and that had to have MUCH simpler technology than what the Live dev's are working with.

The more tech involved means the more opportunities for things to go wrong. But if you go back on the old games you'll see the gaping holes that the current games fill.
