Simple Reason Why 2k Is A Better Hum vs Hum Game

The whole action reaction system, there is a counter to every offensive strategy a player uses, rather if he wants to cheeze or play sim, everything can be stopped unlike Live where you can shoot 3's over and over again and win over and over again, or spin move over and over again to the basket, ect. See, 2k has numerous counters to every offensive situation, stripping players on the perimeter or down low, the ability to block every shot layup or dunk, the ability to body up players trying to run through screens, the ability to body up a ballhandler or play him loose, ect, its not even close in comparison to the other game, I cant understand how people can say Live is a better head to head game with the ability to score on every posession.

Now Live is not cheezy really at all, but the way they balance the game is the worse of any basketball game ever released, the fake turnovers, they probally thought "we cant counter things, so lets just make the player lose the ball when being bumped" if you think this is a realistic balancing strategy you should not watch basketball. How many times in the NBA do you see players simply lose the ball after being bumped, you cant strip players down low, you cant dive to steal a pass in the passing lane (smh, all steals are done from a standstill) im confused, can someone put me up on the head to head advantage Live has over 2k since thats the only think Live players bring up when talking about the game, help me out.

I do feel it is near impossible to beat an aggressive cheeser in live. The 3's will always kill you no matter how you defend.

I hated playing online in 2k9 with the rampant cheese, but i still won 75% of my games. 2k is much more balanced on both sides of the ball and gives you a lot more defensive control.

I've never had a problem defending the threes. Yeah if you leave a good shooter open he will burn you but if you get up and play some D they will miss.

I agree with everything you said. The contact animations in Live are horrid! Especially when Aaron brooks dives in core of Dwight Howard and it doesnt get blocked EVERYTIME. I go thinking why did dwight jump into him, throw his arms back and not block the ball. Brooks is 5 10 for christ sake. Also when being bumped the animation are terrible how you lose the ball. That happens once a season!! lol. why does that always happen in live?? My one gripe that you failed to mention was the stealing animation where you drive and the opposition reaches across your body to steal it......Isn't that a foul EVERY TIME?
