Lol! I hate that play! The CPU even runs it in NBA2K10 often.

Thought I'd chime in here. CH2K8 was and still is an amazing game. It is to me the DEEPEST sports game ever created. Just look at the forum and see all the edits made to this game to make a 2 year old game current! The OS community has done an amazing job with it. Its been said many times, the legacy mode is unbelievably deep. Yes, CH is the more complete game. Yes, you will get more 'bang for your buck'. There's no denying this.

But NCAA10 DOES hold a candle to CH. The reason is because one of the most fundamental aspects of the game of basketball is represented so well in NCAA10 -- spacing. I don't think some of you realize how big a factor this is when it comes to the game of basketball. It may not mean much to the casual fan (which is ironic because NCAA 10 seems to cater more to the casual crowd than the hardcore college baskeball fan). But spacing is a huge factor in basketball and I think its the main thing that keeps everything together (and fun) in NCAA. Its probably the main reason I simply cannot play CH anymore. Not saying you are a fool if you play CH over NCAA (I couldn't care less), its just my personal reason.

Couple this with the dual presentation (which IMO keeps the game fresh in dynasty mode), the player movement while running plays, the ease of running plays, and the importance of running plays (I can pretty much go an entire game without running a play in CH and still come out on top as its easier to freelance....not so much in NCAA)....and you have a game that (to me) competes with CH 'on the court' atleast. There is no comparison off the court IMO, CH is untouchable....but I like to actually 'play' the games more than I like to manage it or gameplan for it (which I do like as well). But I do like to spend more time on the court.

Again, I'm not here to say you're a fool if you like one game over the other (like some people in here are trying to say). I am just saying that NCAA 10 is nowhere near as bad as it is made out to be by some folks. I see peeps on here all the time calling this game garbage and not even in the same breath as CH....and to me that's far from the truth. There are people (including myself) who actually prefer this game over CH and nobody should think that we are "crazy" for feeling that way.

Krob, you are absolutely right. I've been playing both the past few days and found the biggest fundamental difference is off-the-ball motion on offense and spacing. EA's game does a fantastic job replicating this while 2k8 seems really compacted and congested while none of the players really move around.

Slowly making my way back into EA's corner, but a deep game like 2k8 for under 10 bones is the better value if you were to pick only one game this year.

This is easily fixed by using custom playbooks for the CPU.

Also, HELLO, Must of us on OS are HUGE Franchise/Dynasty guys, and for some to say that an almost 3 year games franchise mode is still better the EA's 10 is pretty sad IMO.

Also, is it true that EA's 10 has left out some teams in there game? If so that's not acceptable EVER.

Also the Desk Updates with Gumble are still a breath of fresh air.
CH2K8 is leaps and bounds better than NCAA 10.....just play it...no need for details...the game is self-explanatory!
