I bought both of them and I found them to be two of the most frustrating basketball games I have ever played. I could find no rhyme or reason to whether a shot was going to go in or not. People on the boards kept saying that different players had different release points, etc. but I do not have the time or the intrest in learning what each players "release point" is. I like a game I can pick up and play not one that I have to do homework on. One poster on the Live boards here said it best when he said, "It's a game, not a cure for cancer." To me both games had steep learning curves and were just not any FUN at all.

Interesting view point from a casual gamer. Although I consider myself hardcore, and I enjoy a challenge of learning controls. For a sports game it shouldnt be this hard.

With 2K10 you had animations that randomly triggered and you could not repeat results twice in a row. Even if you had command of controls the room for error was great and really hard to control your players.

In Live 10 control was easier but just dull and boring, not much variety.

Overall, the games have a lot to work on if they want my money, but clearly selling 2 million units, you dont need it. So we'll part ways amicably.
