I posted this in the other forum and it got closed. I've never played the basketball games on the next gen systems and I am only a very casual basketball fan.
I play Madden and while I don't like the superstar mode what I usually do is create or import my player from NCAA and start a franchise. And then I only play with that guy. I don't switch to the guy closest to the ball etc. It makes it so you have to rely on your teammates. And I play franchise so I can build the team and my guy gets better each year.
So I'm looking to do the same in a basketball game. Can I just lock on to my guy and just play as him and I can do it through multiple seasons to improve each year? I know 2k has the my player mode but I have read about a lot of flaws there. So would Live or 2k be my game?
One guy said to rent both and then decide. The closest place to me doesn't have 2k and Live is always out.
