They've been stitched since as long as I can remember. I don't recall NBA jerseys ever being screen printed.[NYK|DAL|VT]

I have that exact MJ jersey and the numbers on the tops weren't stiched.

That's right. For example, the Bulls did not have stitched jerseys until the '92-'93 season. Before that they were heavily screen printed (not like the ones you can buy at a store).
Be careful with those Mitchell and Ness jerseys. I know they and other people say they're authentic, but my authentic jerseys are made by the company who made them that particular season. I have a '93 MJ jersey by Champion and a '98 MJ jersey by Nike.Comment
