Making a basketball game easy to play= enjoyable?

We all know 2k has the competiton beat by years of developement but i read alot of ex-2k players that says it is best bball game on the market but nba live is more enjoyable ive been playing 2k for about 9 years and live hasnt been able to stand up to it. I enjoy learning all the different moves in the game such as all post moves, running hooks and skills such as shooting off the dribble from screens. ive played live my entire life and it has never been this expansive or interactive. i played live 10 and its just to arcadey to me same as live 09. player animations make them look like robots, same limited animations for each character, and character models all look unproportioned. it just isnt enjoyable to me.

can someone tell me why everyone says 2k is the best game out there but yet they perfer to play live because its more "enjoyable"?

I wouldnt say live is more enjoyable.You said it in you ur post.Live is to "arcadey".2k is for the true stick workers and live is for the under skilled.Take the iso motion (dribble moves) for ex.It takes skill to do this in 2k but in live its easier but doesnt take any skill to flick a stick and pull a spin whenever you want.2k all the way.
