I honestly wish I could visit an alternate reality after being in this one so that I could see what would be said if this year we were getting 2K11 vs Live 11 and this whole "total control" thing wasn't being thrown around as a yearly hype tool. Obviously 2K10's controls weren't exactly easy, but to all of a sudden act like you just couldn't do anything in that game and Elite is going to be this amazing game based off this is getting a little ridiculous now.

I dont think some people fully understanded what they mean by control. its not what you do with the sticks or what buttons you mash. Its about control of your player and what he does. Its about doing what you want him to do.

Now weather its better then the other game in terms of controls is up to you to decide. That is also why i have to get both and not let a review or just videos decide for me

-finds out M.Wang back to 2k due to direction of Live. thought to myself, "2k is gonna be beast, and Live is dead."

-Elite name change, controls, RTP. I'm like wow man if this is executed right its gonna be revolutionary.

-Jordan to 2k. plus inclusion of classic teams. -Mind was blown.

-Elite Reanimator Physics thread - i was like wow man if implemented this will be revolutionary.

-Elite clips and elite vids leaked. - Not revolutionary at all. RTP if its there i sure as hell can't see it. If anything 2k could say the same thing and we'd think 2k's had the better RTP.

if we've learned anything about the implementation of new features in sports video games then we all should realize its going to take the EA team some time to get this whole RTP thing correct. I'll let the early adopters *cough*(suckers) monkey around with half baked game development until EA gets it right.

same reason i don't buy any piece of tech on release day.

Yea it seems it takes ea a couple years to get something new done pack. from nhl a couple years ago to madden 2 years ago. Each one of those it took 3 yrs to get right. Madden did something new for 09 and for 10 they made it better now with 11 it is pretty good

But even playing madden 09 you could tell that the game was going to need work but i still had fun playing it. I also had fun playing madden10.

So with elite it should be the same thing. this is a first yr thing and hopefully they stick to it but i still should have fun playing it
