If anything, NBA action 94 had me "wired" for quite some time! Classic!!

        1. NBA Live 95 - First live game and was amazing for genesis standards.

        2. NBA 2k - For its time, incredible graphics and was much more realistic than live.

        3. NBA 2k7 - First bball game with signature jumpers and had great gameplay.

        4. College Hoops 2k8 - IMO, best bball game of all time. That is, until 2k11 drops in a few days.

I guess I'll chime in here too...

NBA 2k8 was fun for a little while, but I seriously haven't been engulfed in a game since Inside Drive 2004. I still wish I had a regular Xbox so I could go back and play it for a few minutes. I know that after seeing the improvements in today's games, it wouldn't be nearly as special, but the AI in that game was deadly, and will pick you apart with smart bball IQ.

NBA Live 2000 (the last game to feature Jordan as a special feature) was my all time favorite basketball game before NBA 2K11 dropped.

NBA Live 06 Xbox and Live10 360. Just traded in NBA 2k11, I wasn't feeling it at all.

ID 2004 was a no doubter. I think I played a entire 82 game season and then some.

That said, i think 2k11 may be the next one with the limited time I have played so far. Its a hard game to master, but once you get the flow down I think it will surpass ID.

The AI in 2k11 reminds me off ID2004.

Is it really? Every BB game's AI that I've seen sucks-*** compared to ID. ID is such a great game. Its just too bad no other game plays like it. I suppose you know my answer to the original question.

Still plan to pick up ID 2004 and an old xbox to play it on. Why, oh why couldn't Microsoft have made this game backwards compatible. (Probably because it would have stolen all future bball game sales. :P)

                        Coach K's College Basketball.

If I had that game I'd still be running shut with the O'Bannon Bros and Tyus Edney.

Sadly, I havn't really enjoyed a basketball game since 2k7. I'm hoping the new NBA Jam will be fun (solo, online and with friends) after 2k11 was a monumental disappointment.

NBA 2K11 has brought me back in big time. I have actually started caring about the NBA again. There are times when I can't make a shot to save my life, but I know it is because I stink. Taking the time to learn the intricacies of 2K11 has been worth it. I can't wait until IsoMotion clicks for me and I integrate well into my gameplay.

Tempted to get NBA Live 10, because I hear good things about it as well.
