My thoughts on this game? Well at this point not too good. I enjoyed the first inside drive and even the third one, this series has its good points. However I just do nto think MS will be able to seriously compete agaisnt Sega/EA. THey have the 2 best hoop games out period. Drive has always seemed little behind, in the player models, the modes, etc. From the shots I have seen the graphics have been polished, but no other real news has come out. No demos, no hands on, nothing. The momentum, and many animations in this game should be fixed. However I love the dunk and even some of the passing, the pa announcers are also hilarious. THe Franchise mode for 2003 was much improved and the modes were finally balanced off well, but there are still issues in this game that need to be handled before MS can compete with the Big 2.

<font color="red">It's ok, but they really need to stop drawing the players faces and start scanning them. They look like Skeletor. Gameplay wise it should be pretty good, but I really can't get into this game because I can't get the right settings with it last year. Either I scored to easily, or the cpu scored too much. </font>

Same here. I expect this to still be the best b-ball sim. It has the AI, and that's what really matters to me.
