Which game......

I hope that this is the right place to post. I have narrowed my choices to get an NBA game. I have already played NBA 2k11 and live 10 so I don't want those. But the two games I am looking at are live 09 and 2k10. I dont care that they are worse!!!! I just picked those cause live has the dunk contest and I like the graphics from what I saw. And 2k10 looks different enough from 2k11

2k7 is still the best nba game. It's not clunky like they are now.

I love NBA 2K8, it's so good! Live 09 is OK - the graphics are pretty nice, but to me the whole movement in this game is weird, it just lacks smoothness overall. 2K8 doesn't have great graphics but it does have awesome gameplay!

I'm serious. Sure it may be dated, but that sim engine during its time was amazing.

I didn't really like Live 06, but I agree that Live 2005 was great! And if you play it on the PC, you can download tons of mods.

NBA Live 09 is pretty awesome. I have some 2011 rosters for it so let me know if you decide on getting it.

Was wondering if anyone still updated the rosters that you know of? Or anything of that sort...

I'm still working to edit it and make it better, since he left off some players without editing their attributes/tendenceis. But it's pretty good, anyway.

Well, it may take some time since I'm quite busy these days. But some day, when I'm done with it (I hope I will), I'll let you know. If you feel that you can do it quicker, let me know.

Do you edit it in game or...? I don't know how to delete/remove the retired players or out of the league players. I'm sure I could use NBA 2K11 as a base for ratings..

Also not so good at creating players. Maybe if you send me a list of players with ratings needed I can get that done in a spreadsheet or something then you could just concentrate on the creating of the new players and removing of old players. I know I could help out with that one.

I do edit it in-game. I don't know how to remove retired players, I assume they're on the Free Agent pool. But you can always edit their ratings and set everything to 50, so no way they would be signed under and circumstance.

You don't really need to create players, as I'm pretty sure that the guy who created the roster update - created all the players. Most of them even look pretty good. It's just that you need to edit some ratings/attributes (and accessories) here and there, since he left some of the created players with attributes/tendencies of 50.
