That post below by KDRE is absolutely spot on on ALL THREE games...

He got the 2K series flaws summed up perfectly, and should be working at VC so that we get the perfect ESPN 2004 .

He also got ID and Live's probs + stenghts down perfectly.

Post of the year IMO and it should be compulsive reading for any game producer.

Great work...

I've started a seperate thread just to applaud...and to bring it to peoples attentions, especially at a time on the forum when everyone seems to be bitching crap about their fav game. This guy KNOWS all three games and doesn't talk crap / bias.

Well, maybe he meant the fact that Sega doesn't have as many people's attentions as EA, but they are gaining on them. This is true.

Well, maybe he meant the fact that Sega doesn't have as many people's attentions as EA, but they are gaining on them. This is true.

Thanks Monkey. I think though it's the way everyone has been feeling. Those problems were/are the main things the producers need to fix. All of the games have great things about it, and we will be good and lucky this year and from now on that the competition is getting fierce between the three.

As far as the 2k series being a better game than Live, I think it is too, and I think it's the main reason EA has gotten up off of their behinds to try to make Live a good game again. It sounds good, and doesn't look as good as it sounds, but we will see if EA comes through this year, or if they continue on the streak of horrid games they've been making.
