Re: Is Michael Jordan In NBA Jam?
Micheal Jordan's original contract is still in effect with EA, meaning he will only appear in their games from now until probably the end of time. That was put on hold when he re-joined the NBA because the current collective bargaining agreement disallows exclusive player deals. Now that he is retired again, EA has retained the exclusive use of his name and likeness from the original 1999 agreement.
Actually, I'm not sure if they had to terminate the old and start a new one or how long the contract is, but I doubt you'll see MJ in any non-EA games for a while. It sucks, but at least Jam will have nearly 3 times as many NBA Legends as Street including a few big names. -

Re: Is Michael Jordan In NBA Jam?
I know that used to be the case, but I'm not so sure now, because I heard that MJ is going to be in NBA ID 2004 and NBA Shootout 2004 is supposed to have the 50 greatest players of all time, including MJ, Barkley and Abdul-Jabbar.... Don't ask me how they managed that.Comment
