Cowards... I am gonna get it soon... I have to finish my basement construction and will buy NBA Jam and Tiger Woods 2004 for X-Box...

Someone buy and give some feedback, it is getting good word from what I have seen.

If EB still had their VERY relaxed return policy I would!

I have it. If you want to see a good review with some in game movies and screenshots check this link out : http://www.nlgaming.com/nl/asp/id_684/nl/reviewDisp.htm

It is arcade roundball all the way so be warned if you are not a fan of arcade gameplay you won't like it. If you do like arcade basketball then I don't see many reason's why you won't love JAM. It is a beautiful looking, sounding and playing game that puts the feel of the arcade back in your house. It also seems fairly deep and very polished to me. No way did anyone get through unlocking all 50+ Legends yet or all the hidden characters you get after finishing the JAM tournament. BTW - there is no season, just two huge progressive tournament modes to play through. This is an arcade game all the way but it also gives you a lot of stuff to unlock and mess around with.

The only thing I will add to the almost perfect review from NLGaming is the AI is more than a little "rough". I wouldn't say the AI cheats but I would say that they play one perfect game in Tournament Mode. Their block timing is impecable, they love to push and steal and they make the tripple alley-oop look as easy as a layup. Meanwhile, your teammates don't seem to thrive from the same AI gene pool, forcing you to work for everything. Also there are some cheats to make it easier but I haven't tried them yet because I am sure once you learn the AI's tricks they will be defeatable.
