Im sorry you feel that way, I have seen screen sof all the games, and I dont see ID graphics as bad at all.

i really think that id is better than the espn/2k series because of its "fun"... 2k3 sucked [censored you naughty boy] its so fustrating and no fun at all... the only 2k bball game i will buy in my life! unless ESPN bball wil be different but i highly doubt that... but i think live is the best out of the 3 but id is not far behind IMHO... they just gotta add some new features... maybe say street ball? or 1on1? and although thier graphics are good its is not as good as live and espn's... better player models
IMHO though my favourite bball series from 1-3 1 being the best:
1. NBA LIVE.
2. NBA INSIDE DRIVE
3. NBA ESPN/2K3

I think Lack of advertising is the answer. I mean, I have seen a lot of commercials for 2k4 and live so far, but if not for the internet I would have no idea about anything related to inside drive.

Also I agree with the lack of new features in the game. I mean, if you look at the advertising strategy with Live and 2k4, they're always hyping some new feature like 24/7 mode or free style control. Hyping an improved franchise mode isn't going to help all that much.

To respond to the other discussions in this thread. Personally I enjoy ID's graphics, but that is just my personal preference. I think the graphics and animations are much more smooth and natural looking than the robotic 2k4 series.

Having said all that I am definitely getting ID 2004, I picked up ID 2003 and it absolutely blew me away. Funnest gaming experience I've had for a while.

Where did you get the robotic thing from? People who've played the demo said it's not robotic at all. And inside drive's franchise needed to be improved it's boring and ugly, just like the players.
