Id 2003 excelled where both Live 2003 and NBA 2k3 failed. That's all there is to it, IMHO. However, this year is a different story. Live 2004 plays great, at least from what I've played after adjusting sliders. I still don't know how ESPN NBA Basketball is, but it could be better. I hope it's a great game. I'm leaning towards getting all three again this year. Live 2004 for the PC and ID 2004 are must buys for me though.

Yeah, after I played nba2k3 again I saw all the problems that you and monkey were talking about. But I still don't like inside drive. Whatever it's probably just me.

Then why do you have so many posts on the board? It would be awesome if OS could ban certain people from posting at certain boards for a duration of time to minimize the childish trolling.

I don't post on this board a lot. And ask neo why he's posting on the espn board and complaining about stuff that's already been confirmed that they are in the game. I actually played inside drive and he hasn't played espn and is still complaining.

ID is the smartest game of all, that's what makes it so spectacular. I use to like NBA 2K, but I can no longer care less about it's jaw dropping graphics. Game play and the AI is what matters!

From what I can tell, you haven't played it either. Aren't you waiting for the X-box version just as I am? You know why I'm complaining. Either you're really that dense, or you just don't want to listen. I've told you, nobody has confirmed the ability to play a motion offense or a triangle offense at will. All they've said is you can play DIFFERENT variations of the iso, pick and roll, post up, and 3-point. Which means absolutely nothing to me.

After reading the reviews and impressions of both NBA Live and ESPN Basketball, I have come to the conclusion that I need to wait for Inside Drive before making a purchase. Since I did not buy or even play Inside Drive last year, I am leaning towards a purchase this year as it is now playable online. I am not into graphics as much as I am into gameplay. I don't need to see a player with a certain pair of shoes on to enjoy the game. I don't need to see a player smile as he drains a three. I on the other hand, prefer to see teams play just like their real-life counterparts and from what I have been reading, it sounds like Inside Drive is the only Pro basketball game that has this right.

I think everyone should spend less time pitching which game is their favorite and why everyone should not buy another game. Sega, Microsoft, EA, who cares.........pick your game, be happy and leave forums like this alone if it is not your cup of tea. It is pointless to put down the competition and it is pointless to bash a game that you have not played as it isn't even out yet!

This goes out to all those trolling this board:

Last point.............if your game is soooooooo great, then why are you spending your time here bashing Inside Drive when instead you should be playing your so called great basketball game?

its not gettin the love of those because the graphics and animations lick horse nuts. thats why! gameplay kicks but the visuals are horrid. the arenas are the only nice lookin thing on this game.
