    2011-2012: Videogame Bball Withdrawal

    Anyone else going thru this?

I'm one of those who just can't get into NBA 2K12 because of how they changed the way the game "feels" this year. I didn't buy it but I borrowed it from a family member and I just can't get into it no matter how many sliders I tweak. The game just feels "off" to me.

And there is no bball on the EA side.

I don't have the patience I guess to do the whole roster thing with College Hoops.

So where does that leave us?

NBA 2K11 was probably the most complete bball game I've played but the downer from that is there is nothing from a bball side to play this year and this will unfortunately last until October.

2K12 made me tired of the 2K brand of bball (no hate). Just like dealing with the same girl day in and day out...year after year.

How are any of you guys who feel like this getting through it?

I've been playing Call of Duty MW and with the new maps it might take me through the Winter months but I'm sure it'll get stale after awhile..already is.

I'm a bball guy because it's quick hitting. I can't get with games like Uncharted and RPGs where you have to sit in front of your TV all day long. Too much stuff to deal with.

Football was a mess this year in NCAA and Madden (thanks EA) so no dice there.

Where do you bball lovers who can't get into 2K12 turn to?

If you have a 360 there are 2 separate rosters for this season and both are really good. The only basketball game I ever play is CH2k8 as it is by far the best college game and I'm not an NBA guy at all. If you like college basketball, you will like College Hoops.
