need help with the name of a game

There was a basketball game that I had back in the day. It had Doc Rivers as the color commentator...it was a 1999-2000 season edition of the game. So yea obviously I can't really give a good description but, is there anyone who remembers any basketball games with Doc Rivers as a commentator? I have looked a few times, google, wikipedia, can't seem to find any other clues as to what the game was called...

Do you mean (Fox Sports) NBA Basketball 2000?

Real Fox Sports announcers including former Atlanta Hawks point guard Doc Rivers, call the action.

I used to have it for the PC. The game could have been good, but the animations were so bad, so ugly. Players moved so weird, dribbled so wrong. But I liked the highlights from the game shown on the jumbotron at the end of the game. I think the PC version (as always, back then) looked the best.

Yes that's it! Come to think of it I remember the Fox Sports deal that game had.Yeah I don't remember much from it except weird noises and I can't imagine how I was able to play it with how it looked. But me and my sister used to pop this in and play, she actually beat me quite a few times, we probably were pretty even. She always used the Wizards with Strickland and I'd choose some random team. I remember now looking at some vids of the game the way that sometimes on shots the camera would go behind the player and show the ball going into the hoop from a special angle and you knew that it would go in, so we always knew when a halfcourt shot would go in lol. Nice find.

^^ LOL at Murray falling down during the shootout before the game. That game must have had one of the WORST physic systems ever! LOL! Players "floating" in the air...what's going on with that?! But I think it's among the first basketball games to feature an actual network license, actually looks like a TV broadcast. Kudos for that.

I think that back then I split my time between this one (until I couldn't stand it) and NBA Inside Drive 2000. Wasn't a huge fan of Live 2000, and liked it only because of MJ (I just LOVED NBA Live 99).

lol even before i saw that vid i remembered greg papas obsession with the word jumper. And talking about breathing down people's necks. His WITH THE JUMPERRR line echos even today when I'm watching games or playing NBA 2K xD I'm pretty sure I turned the commentator volume down when I played because he had to mention with the same 2 lines if a shot was GOOOD or NO GOOD! eek.

That line, with Papa's voice, is tattooed in my brain. LOL at players taking fadaway jumpers - jost floating backwards in the air, in a 45-degree angle. What were they thinking?!

Nice starting lineup. But the animations....holy ****! Looked like Double Dribble 2000.

Yeah, that game had some of the worst animations and player models. I think that for some time I kept playing it only because it was another option for a basketball games and that I felt that it could have been much better if they had tried harder. But at the end, you can't fool yourself for too long - a bad game is a bad game.
