But if we were to put together the real life players, their pictures would be replaced with the ones we give them, right? Or would they continuously randomize?

Anthony Davis = anthony_davis.jpg
We will have to Download the picture file along with the saved game.
Also if someone want to make a photo megapack it would help very much.
Photos needs to be 65 x 90 in jpg/jpeg format.
Photos should be easily obtained from the school's athletic site.
Just name the image "firstname_lastname.jpg" all lower case letters.
Coaches and players need to be in a separate folder.

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
If I get time, I could collect some pictures for you, but you would have to let me know how to put together a megapack. Can you tell I'm new to this? Should I make a new folder in the DDS:CBB2 folder on my computer for player photos? Let me know and I'll do what I can.
May I suggest we start a new thread to keep track of everything we're doing in case others want to jump in and help?

You could just create 2 random folder in your PC and name one as "Players" and the other as "Coaches" (if you decide to do both)
Then place the images in its respective folder.
To get them to work inside the game just drag the folders into the game's graphic folder under "player" or "coaches"Comment

Would we be able to share our pics with each other or split up the leagues and be able to get everyone done?

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
the pics are in 65 x 90 so it shouldn't be a huge file and therefore we could easily use a free file sharing site to upload them and share/combineLast edited by Jukeman; 03-18-2012, 03:49 PM.Comment

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
As long as both the picture file and the players/coaches names are the same they will always match.

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
If a player has a hyphenated name or includes an apostrophe, would you like me to include the hyphen/apostrophe in the pictures file name or no? Also, if the head shots from the school page is not 65x90, does it need to be re-sized? If so, what's the easiest way to do that?
yes you have to resize the pics. Im not sure if you are on a Mac but Mac has a resize tool. All you have to is dbl click on the image and it will go into preview mode where you then go into the tool option. Resize to 65 x 90 and export the image to jpg and thats is it.
1. Go to the folder containing all of your pics you want to resize.
2. Highlight all of the photos, and double-click to open in Preview, or right-click and choose Open With Preview.
3. Go to Edit and choose "Select All".
4. Go to Tools and choose "Adjust Size...".
5. Enter in your desired size for all the images.
6. Go to File and choose Save All.
If you are using a PC
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mRu04zt-hnk?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mRu04zt-hnk?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>Last edited by Jukeman; 03-18-2012, 07:08 PM.Comment

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
That Windows Resizer will be a life saver! Only thing is I just tried to make it the custom 65x90, but it makes the picture 65x86. Will that be suffice? Does it have to be exact?

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
Using Rakeem Christmas' picture I saved and resized to 65x86, it worked in game. But for some other instances, it is not working. I'm not sure why. Any ideas?
EDIT
I'm noticing that some of the pictures from specific schools are not working in game like Georgetown, UConn, Pitt and Villanova. I haven't tested all of the schools in the Big East yet, but any ideas what I should do to work around this?Last edited by R1zzo23; 03-19-2012, 01:06 PM.Comment

Re: Any news at all regarding a new college game?
I've downloaded and attempted to re-size every picture for the Big East. Some come out to 65x90, some are off a couple pixels in one direction. Just tested it out and I think it works!
