IsoMotion or Freestyle Control

From what i've read it seems Isomotion has the steeper learning Curve but once you get a grasp of it it adds alot of depth to gameplay. Meanwhile Freestyle Control is simpler and better suited for quick pickup n' play action.

Which of these features do you prefer and why?

Knowing very little about either at this point (only played a few games of last year's live and none so far this year and just got ESPN a couple of days ago) I'd say it's the opposite. It seems like Freestyle is more indepth and easier to use bc there are so many different combinations. Iso seems a bit harder only bc you get hit with a charge if you just go at it out of control. But again, I'm way at the bottom of the learning curve right now.

I'd have to say IsoMotion is better than FreeStyle control. People are complaing about using IsoMotion causes charges and don't realize that you aren't supposed to use IsoMotion on every drive or two down the court. And yes, it is harder to learn IsoMotion but if you learn how to use it correctly, it can really up your game, but not to the point that you're going to dominate every trip on offense. While FreeStyle is easier and provides you with more moves, I just don't like it. No matter what people say, you can pretty much use the Freestlye and pro-hop to dominate most of the time...

Iso-motion is more realistic because you can get called for charges, you can't keep doing it all the time because there is the meter, and it makes the game more challenging
