Why the delay??

Does anyone have any reason why they would do this? Evidently, the game is finished (steve got a FINAL bets), so why delay it another month?? Im itching for a BBall fix, and I know I will like ID the best, but I almost want to get LIVE and not wait! Im very impatient, and this wait is killing me.

I alos think this is gonna hurt sales more than help. The whole BBall craze will be dying down by the time it comes out!! People will already be ahppy with live or espn, and not even look at ID. I will, or course, but Im kinda pissed with the way they are handling the launch of this game. No fanfare, no site, no ads, nothing. This is by far their strongest sports title, and they dont even hype it! Kinda confuses me. Anyone have any ideas why they would do this? Unless, of course, they are tweaking, which would be OK then.

That is a very good question

One of HV weakest point is advertising, there game is great, there PR is awsome, but they cant advertise worth a damn

so why they would delay the game is beyond me, as it would cost losses in sales, as you stated

What are you guys saying, that the game now is scheduled to ship December 18? If so, that sucks. I won't be buying a console basketball game in December, that's ridiculous.

Ok, that's what I had heard, but the mention of a months delay had me fuming. I have no problem buying the game Nov. 19th and plan to do so.

High Voltage is a developer. It doesn't advertise; it probably does minimal PR. Game publishers like EA, Sony and Microsoft do the PR and advertising. Developers like High Voltage, Visual Concepts and Tiburon just design and build the games.
