I have Live for the PS2 and was gonna get ID for XBOX. I have online for both its just that my bro is always hogging the PS2.

Thats why I know I will like this game. Having great AI is my ultimate sports fantasy. I think Live's AI is good but they still do some pretty chessy things at times like running to the hole for the entire second half and having teams like the Cavs play NJ type defense. So I pretty much know I'll be in for a treat with ID. If the AI is that good, I may just play my franchise with ID. I not quite sure though. Thats the one thing I'm really liking about Live is the franchise.

Anyway, I need to do some more researching on this game. I called EB about 20 minutes ago and its still not out yet. The videos I saw look nice. The arenas especially look good. And if its one thing I know MS excells in, its lighting.

I cant remember what my PS2 online ID is I have'nt played in so long. I'm gonna get some impressions before I pick it up though. i was hoping it came out today.

I have another question....

How easy is it to dominate a game with a team's superstar (ie. Iverson, Bryant)?

My biggest gripe with ESPN online is that most people tend to use one player the whole game.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have called everywhere trying to find the game, but nothing anywhere yet. I am about to go nuts.

But if AI is your ultimate sports game fantasy, then you will love this game.

I can't wait for this game. I loved it last year. I bought espn this year but decided to return it towards my preorder of ID after a week. If we can get enough OS people together we should try to start an OS league on XSN. I don't know how may people plan on getting it though as it seems like the activity on this board is a little slow.

I will be getting the game tomorrow and posting impressions. I can tell just from steve's videos that it is what I am looking for though. The way offenses are run is what does it for me on this game. I have ESPN college hoops and think its a good game but the offensive plays in that game do not seem very realistic. It is pretty chaotic. Sometimes post players post in weird places and the players running off screens don't seem to run to good spots. This kind of stuff is what ID does well.
