    Normal and easy Shooting

It says in the manuall normal shooting has the shot meter which when is green u should let go of the x button ok fine. But on easy shooting all u have to do is press the x button and there is no meter the accuracy of the shot is based on the players skill rating.Which brings me to my question.Does skill ratings matter in the normal shooting mode or does it just go by the meter where anyone from Mutombo to Doleac can shoot as good as say Houston from the outside if u time it right. hope that is not like this

Normal shooting still takes the players ratings into account. I tested this by going into practice mode with a bad shooter ( T.J. Ford ). I would release at a perfect time, because the voice tells you perfect, yet he would still miss the majority of his shots.

I didn't see a meter when I was playing must have missed it. I did go into practice mode to shoot around, and made more shots that were "slightly late" on my release then those that were "perfect".

He's talking about free throws, and the ratings affect the movement of the meter.

different players have different meters. for example, Shaq's meter wont turn green outside of the 3 point line, making it VERY hard to make a 3 with him. Someone like Rip would turn green halfway thru the meter in midrange, while Dikembe would turn green maybe at the end, making it harder.
