Fantastic Game, but; 2 things that need to be upgraded next year

Well, I have played all 3 pro games this year, and ID is my favorite. There is no way anyone can tell me Live or ESPN play a better game.
That being said, in order for this game compete with the other two, it has to improve two things.

1: Graphics - I am not as concerned about graphics as others, but; they make a valid point, both ESPN and Live have better graphics. I think the graphics are servicable, but an upgrade is in order.

2: Career Mode - I love that it keeps track of milestones, but other than that, it is severly lacking. To me, this is the area ID is furthest behind the others. Even Lives career mode is better and that hasnt been updated since 2000. ID's feels like an afterthought. No rookie scouting, no hiring or firing of coaches or trainers. You dont even see the draft lottery. ID has to improve this for next year, because I can guaranty that the Live team has taken notice of the praise for Madden franchise features and will be implementing the abiltiy to build stadiums and move teams.

Again, I think ID is THE game to have this year, but they have to improve these two areas if they want to compete next year. I am praying that they come up with a complete and innovative Career Mode.

    Peace,

I agree that it is the best of the three, but there are two things I really miss from ESPN, which I think is still a pretty tight game, at least a close second to ID:

    1. Automatic face-ups on defense. I intitally didn't like it in ESPN, but now that I have to hold down the L-trigger again to face up, I realize how much I've come to appreciate it in ESPN.

    2. The ability to pick off passes in the lanes. I know you can position yourself for a steal in ID 2004, but using the "X" button in ESPN to lunge for the steal is much more satisfying, I think.

Oh yeah, and get Tom Tolbert. He's the man!

    (just kidding)
