why dosent Custom Rosters work on Season?

It seems like u HAVE TO follow the 2003-2004 rosters when u start a season...is there a way to use your own custom roster durin season?

Not during the season, but you can go with customize rosters before the season. I did so I could get Tony Delk and Antoine Walker (Who is a 78...haha) on the Mavericks. I have like no size in the middle when Bradley runs out of gas though, it stinks.

Guys, can anyone VERIFY or CONFIRM that you can edit the custom OR 2003-2004 rosters DURING the season? I'm in a season right now but i can only add players to MY team (user) but i cant edit other teams lineups!

You should be able to go and take control of all of the teams, and make the trades yourself. I think you can anyway.

That's the problem, i haven't been able to take control of the other teams (while in season mode) therefore i can't edit the rosters. I have no idea what rhe problem is and if it is even possible to edit other lineups in season mode. The manual says it can be done but, when i follow the steps in the manual the game still won't allow me to access the other teams......

If the game plays like last year, you have to take ownership of ALL of the teams, before you play a single game in season mode. You make your changes, then you deselect the teams that you do not want to use. Once you start playing the games, you can only control the teams that you have selected.
